Grenfell Memorial Quilt Community Project

The Women Against the Far Right sewing team are taking part in the Grenfell Memorial Quilt Community Project to commemorate, celebrate and memorialise the 72 people who died in the Grenfell Tower Fire on 14 June 2017, killed by a racist system that puts people before profit.

We will help create a panel to complete a 220ft x 72ft Memorial quilt, the dimensions of Grenfell Tower and the UK’s largest fabric art memorial.
